A view that arranges two or more views in a linear stack running horizontally or vertically.
By default, dividers have a horizontal orientation so that the split view arranges its panes vertically from top to bottom.
Divider indices are zero-based. If the vertical property is false, which is the default value, the top divider has an index of 0. If vertical is true, the leading divider has an index of 0.

Destroys the UISplitView and releases it's subviews.
| void CeresEngine::UISplitView::adjustSubViews | ( | ) |
Adjusts the sizes of the split view's subviews so they (plus the dividers) fill the split view.
When you call this method, the split view's subviews resize proportionally; the relative sizes of the subviews don't change.
The default implementation of this method resizes subviews proportionally so that the ratio of heights (when using horizontal dividers) or widths (when using vertical dividers) doesn't change, even though the absolute sizes change.
Call this method on split views where you've added or removed subviews to reestablish the consistency of subview placement.
Overridden by subclasses to perform additional actions when subviews are added to the view.
Reimplemented from CeresEngine::UIView.

overrideprotectedvirtual |
Overridden by subclasses to draw the view's texture within the specified rectangle.
Use this method to draw the specified portion of your view's content. Your implementation of this method should be as fast as possible and do as little work as possible. The dirtyRect parameter helps you achieve better performance by specifying the portion of the view that needs to be drawn. You should always limit drawing to the content inside this rectangle. For even better performance, you can call the getRectsBeingDrawn() method and use the list of rectangles returned by that method to limit drawing even further. You can also use the needsToDraw() method test whether objects in a particular rectangle need to be drawn.
The default implementation does nothing. Subclasses should override this method if they do custom drawing. Prior to calling this method, the framework creates an appropriate drawing context and configures it for drawing to the view; you do not need to configure the drawing context yourself.
If your custom view is a direct UIView subclass, you do not need to call super. For all other views, call super at some point in your implementation so that the parent class can perform any additional drawing.
isOpaque property is true, the view must completely fill the dirtyRect rectangle with opaque content.| dirtyRect | A rectangle defining the portion of the view that requires redrawing. This rectangle usually represents the portion of the view that requires updating. When responsive scrolling is enabled, this rectangle can also represent a nonvisible portion of the view that frameworks wants to cache. |

|
inlinenoexcept |
A Boolean value that determines the geometric orientation of the split view's dividers.
The default value of this property is true, which indicates vertical dividers and views that stack one after another the other (left-to-right) in the containing split view.
To specify horizontal dividers and a horizontal (top-to-bottom) arrangement of views within a split view, set this property to false.
|
overrideprotectedvirtual |
Lays out subviews.
Subclasses can override this method as needed to perform more precise layout of their subviews. You should override this method only if the autoresizing behavior of the subviews do not offer the behavior you want. You can use your implementation to set the frame rectangles of your subviews directly.
You should not call this method directly. If you want to force a layout update, call the setNeedsLayout() method instead to do so prior to the next drawing update. If you want to update the layout of your views immediately, call the layoutIfNeeded() method.

The color of the dividers that the split view draws between subviews.
| void CeresEngine::UISplitView::setDividerStyle | ( | DividerStyle | dividerStyle | ) |
The style of divider between views.
Sets the position of the divider at the specified index.
The default implementation of this method behaves as if the user were attempting to drag the divider to the proposed position, so the system applies the constraints that the delegate imposes and one of the views adjacent to the divider may collapse.
| position | The position of the divider. |
| index | The index of the divider. |

| UIDelegate<UISplitView, bool(UIView* subView)> CeresEngine::UISplitView::canCollapseSubview = false |
Allows the delegate to determine whether the user can collapse and expand the specified subview.
The subview expands when the user drags the divider beyond the halfway mark between its minimum size and its edge.
A collapsed subview isn't visible, but the split view object retains it with the same size as before the collapse.
If the delegate doesn't implement this method, the subviews can't collapse.
| subView | The subview to collapse. |
true if subview collapses when the user drags a divider beyond the halfway mark between its minimum size and its edge; otherwise, false. | UIDelegate<UISplitView, double(double proposedMaximum, UInt32 dividerIndex)> CeresEngine::UISplitView::constrainMaximumCoordinate |
Allows the delegate to constrain the maximum coordinate limit of a divider when the user drags it.
The delegate receives this message before the split view begins tracking the cursor to position a divider. You can further constrain the limits, but you can't extend the divider limits.
If the split bars are horizontal (views are one on top of the other), proposedMaximum is the bottom limit. If the split bars are vertical (views are side by side), proposedMaximum is the right limit. The initial value of proposedMaximum is the bottom (or right side) of the subview after the divider.
| proposedMaximum | The proposed maximum coordinate limit of the subview in the split view's flipped coordinate system. |
| dividerIndex | Specifies the divider the user is moving, with the first divider being 0 and increasing from top to bottom (or left to right). |
| UIDelegate<UISplitView, double(double proposedMinimum, UInt32 dividerIndex)> CeresEngine::UISplitView::constrainMinimumCoordinate |
Allows the delegate to constrain the minimum coordinate limit of a divider when the user drags it.
The delegate receives this message before the split view begins tracking the cursor to position a divider. You can further constrain the limits, but you can't extend the divider limits.
If the split bars are horizontal (views are one on top of the other), proposedMinimum is the top limit. If the split bars are vertical (views are side by side), proposedMinimum is the left limit. The initial value of proposedMinimum is the top (or left side) of the subview before the divider.
| proposedMinimum | The proposed minimum coordinate limit of the subview in the split view's flipped coordinate system. |
| dividerIndex | Specifies the divider the user is moving, with the first divider being 0 and increasing from top to bottom (or left to right). |
| UIDelegate<UISplitView, double(double proposedPosition, UInt32 dividerIndex)> CeresEngine::UISplitView::constrainSplitPosition |
Allows the delegate to constrain the divider to certain positions.
If the delegate implements this method, the split view calls it repeatedly as the user moves the divider.
If a subview's height must be a multiple of a certain number, use this method to return the multiple nearest to proposedPosition.
| proposedPosition | The cursor's current position, and the proposed position of the divider. |
| dividerIndex | The index of the divider the user is moving, with the first divider being 0 and increasing from top to bottom (or left to right). |
| struct { ... } CeresEngine::UISplitView::delegate |
| UIDelegate<UISplitView, void()> CeresEngine::UISplitView::didResizeSubviews |
Notifies the delegate when the split view resizes its subviews.
The view invokes this method after the split view resizes two of its subviews in response to the repositioning of a divider.
A constant that represents an undefined drag index.
| UIDelegate<UISplitView, void()> CeresEngine::UISplitView::layoutSubviews |
Allows the delegate to specify custom sizing behavior for the subviews of the split view.
If the delegate implements this method, it receives this message after the split view resizes.
Resize the subviews so that the sum of the sizes of the subviews plus the sum of the thickness of the dividers equals the size of the new frame of the UISplitView. You can get the thickness of a divider through the getDividerThickness() method.
If you implement this delegate method to resize subviews on your own, the UISplitView doesn't perform any error checking for you. However, you can invoke adjustSubviews() to perform the default sizing behavior.
